Where is the next beach?

Wo, wenn nicht in Graubünden, sollte der Rhein auch sonst entspringen? Von dort aus nimmt er seinen Lauf durch die Schweiz, vorbei an Liechtenstein und Frankreich, über Deutschland bis zu den Niederlanden, wo er dann in die Nordsee mündet. Somit ist er, mit seinen 1.233 km, der längste Nordseezufluss und ausserdem eine der verkehrsreichsten Wasserstrassen der Welt. Eigentlich heisst er erst ab dem Zusammenfluss von Vorder- und Hinterrhein bei Tamins/Reichenau einfach nur "Rhein" (ohne Zusätze). An dieser Stelle befindet sich auch der Tamins/Reichenauer Strand! Schön eingebettet zwischen Strassenbrücke und Eisenbahnbrücke kann man hier am feinen Sandstrand und am reissenden Rhein die Sonne geniessen. Vielleicht der ideale Ort, um eine Flaschenpost zu senden?

Erkenntnis der Woche: Es ist wahr, man kann auch in grossen Supermarktketten noch Preise an der Kasse verhandeln. 

Where, when  not in Grisons, should the Rhine river have its source? From there onwards it takes its flow through Switzerland, touching Liechtenstein and France, passing Germany and flowing up to the Netherlands where it disembogues in the North Sea. Hence, with its 1.233 km, it is the longest contributing stream to the North Sea and also one of the busiest water ways of the world. In fact, only after the junction from Vorderrhine and Hinterrhine near Tamins/Reichenau it is called just "Rhine" (without additional names). At this spot lies the Tamins/Reichenau beach! Beautifully enclosed between a road bridge and a railway bridge one can enjoy the sun at the fine sand beach at the torrential Rhine. Maybe it is the perfect place from where to send a message in a bottle?
