Neues Jahr, Neues Glück

Von einer Minute auf die andere wird man aus den schönen Ferienträumen wieder zurück in die Universitätsrealität katapultiert. Nach nur einer Woche breitet sich ein detailliert vorgeplantes Halbjahr vor einem aus. Exkursionen, Prüfungen, Präsentationen, Abgaben von Gruppenarbeiten, alles ist schon genau im Terminplaner festgesetzt. Sogar der Termin für die Abgabe der Bachelorarbeit nächstes Jahr steht schon fest. Da hoffe ich mal, dass am 23. Dezember die Welt doch  nicht untergeht, damit ich den Termin auch einhalten kann.

Es beginnt also ein neues Jahr, ein guter Zeitpunkt für ein neues Jahresmotto: "I try not to think out of the box anymore, but on its edge, its corner, its flap and under its bar code." (Ich versuche nicht mehr außerhalb des vorgegebenen Rahmens/Box denken, sondern an ihrer Kante, ihren Ecken, ihrer Klappe und unter ihrem Strichcode.) Es wäre ja auch zu einfach, unter demselben Motto wie letztes Jahr weiter zu studieren.

From one minute to the next one gets catapulted from nice holidaydreams into universityreality. After only one week a detailed and planned term is spread in front of you. Excursions, exams, presentations, group work, everything is already fixed in the agenda. Even the deadline for the bachelor thesis next year is fixed. So I hope, that the world won't end on december 23rd, so that I can stick to that deadline.

So, a nex year begins, a good point in time to to set a new motto for the year: "I try not to think out of the box anymore, but on its edge, its corner, its flap and under its bar code." Of course, it would be too boring to just keep studing under the same motto as last year.
